Datatruck Raises $12M Series A to Accelerate AI-Native TMS for Carriers

Datatruck Product Releases August 2026

Three things shipped in August that change the shape of a dispatcher's day: two more sources of freight to book from, saved lanes you no longer rebuild by hand, and trip profit you can read before the month closes. Accounting, dispatch and fleet work landed alongside them. Everything below is grouped by the part of your business it touches.
In this release
Book Freight
Win loads at the right price and terms.
RXO and Arrive are connected. Both set up in settings, then their freight sits alongside everything else you already source from. Each result carries its source, its status, and full load detail.
Results land as they arrive. Boards answer at different speeds. Yours no longer waits for the slowest one. New loads queue behind a banner rather than reshuffling the table while you are reading it, and the per-source counts stay honest as pages fill in.
Pick the driver while you book. Choose from the drivers tied to that MC. Origin fills itself from wherever that driver is finishing.
Reconnect a stale seat. No credentials to dig up. The connection restores in place.
Find carriers either way. Company name or MC number, same field.
Spot Freight, by name. MySpot now carries its official Spot Freight branding.
Move Freight
Plan, dispatch, and execute the physical movement of loads.
Load Templates. Build a lane once. Stops, rate, pay, billing detail, all of it saved. From there it generates loads on whatever schedule you set, and what comes out is complete enough for dispatch to work immediately.
Plan a trip before you commit it. A planned trip sits on a booked load without going anywhere. Attach a driver to a leg quietly, dispatch that leg when you are ready. Split it afterward if the freight changes.
AI Updater runs from Live Loads. Email, alerts, calls, geofencing, document checks: all of it now sits on the board itself. Turn capabilities on for a batch of loads in one action. Each row shows its own status, customer MC, driver phone, and whether the truck is moving.
Geofence check-ins tell you. When a geofence checks a load in or out, the confirmation reaches the dispatcher. Bundled or standalone, whichever your notification settings say.
One schedule, every screen. Stop times resolve through the timezone of the stop itself. Load pages, trip pages, settlements, invoice batches, the planning board, PDFs, partner messages: same time on all of them. On-time performance now measures against that corrected timing, which means your service numbers describe what actually happened.
A board that keeps up. Lists return several times faster. The map pans and zooms. The mini-map draws the route you saved rather than a default line, and clicking a stop gives you the street address.
Loaded miles in Route and Mileage. The redesigned mapping drawer shows loaded miles, with clearer route selection alongside.
Load management analytics. Dashboards for lifecycle, volume, source, on-time performance, cancellations and usage. Trip-level tracking covers splits, reassignments, pay changes and mile corrections.
Domtar Corp EDI onboarding. Tender, acknowledgment, status and invoice exchange are live for this partner.
Invoicing and Settlements
Move money in and out accurately and on time.
QuickBooks Desktop on your terms. Inbound and outbound sync switch on or off per record type, independently. Taxes carry through on invoice sync. Sales tax items and groups come across from QuickBooks so your tax lines match, and there is a manual sales tax code mapping for the customers that need one.
Tetra Capital joins your factoring options. It appears in factoring setup with the providers you already use.
Factoring that tracks straight. FactorGenie payments post against the right invoice using the vendor's record date. Funded status sets correctly. Triumph due dates follow the invoice date now, not the moment you submitted.
Dispatcher payroll, brought level with driver payroll. Batch, settlement, create-batch and send all work the way the driver side does. Totals come through directly, and year-to-date earnings match the settlement PDF.
Charges that explain themselves. The accessorial note you type on a load shows up in the invoice charge description.
Cross-currency salary that matches the books. Vendor salary conversions use the amounts already booked on trips and expenses. Imported records, drivers through employees, carry their own currency.
Rates that stay precise. Mile ranges get validated before they save. A band produces the rate you intended.
Invoice aging that lines up. Terms, aging days and overdue status all follow the corrected invoice date. Batch grids refresh once the invoice emails finish sending.
Money code reasons carry into QuickBooks Online. Salary settlement exports include the reason on the line.
Safety and Compliance
Keep drivers and equipment available, compliant, and road-ready.
Work orders that close the loop. One work order covers a truck or a trailer and closes the fleet issue behind it on its own. Compensation, billable amounts, engine hours, in and out dates all ride along.
Paperwork stops blocking the shop. An inactive truck or trailer can go on a work order and an invoice. No reactivating the unit first.
Search your whole fleet. Truck and trailer status search reaches every unit you own, not the first handful the page loaded.
Driver employment status, visible and sortable. The Drivers list shows it, and you can sort and filter on it.
Trailer temperature in your telematics. ThermoKing temperature arrives with the location updates. Spireon integrations show it in settings.
New trucks sync on schedule. Scheduled Alpha ELD sync picks up newly created trucks on its own.
